Rusty

My story

Meet Rusty! Rusty is an 8-month-old male Cava Poo, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Miniature Poodle that weighs 23 lbs. He was an owner surrender to LHS due to his owners being older and not having enough energy to care for a puppy after purchasing from the breeder. Tho he is unsure why he was left at the shelter; he is now in foster care and realizes that LHS is going to help him find a loving family. Rusty is a very sweet, kind, and affectionate boy. He walks well on a leash and takes treats gently. Despite his prior life he wants to put it all behind him and focus on finding his true forever home, when sitting together he will put his paws in your lap and lean in so you can rub his ears and give him a kiss. Rusty is good with other dogs and would be fine with older children. He is crate and house trained and deserves to have a secure backyard to play in but must be an indoor dog. To have his own fluffy dog bed yet enjoy being close to his human companions sitting on the couch watching tv. Rusty would make a great addition to a loving family.  His adoption donation is $500.
