My story

Meet Aries! This handsome fella came to Animal Friends through our Humane Investigations Department after being abandoned. Aries is a high energy dog, who would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training. He did spend time in a foster home where he had a chance to work on his doggy manners and prepare him for his new home! Aries learned so much while in his foster home, and has turned into a very polite young man. His foster said that when they were at work, "Aries was the best boy." He loves long car rides and going on camping trips. Aries is also making great strides with walking well on leash, but he does have a good prey drive and loves to chase small creatures. Animal Friends has teamed up with Fi Smart Dog Collar to provide GPS-enabled dog collars for Animal Friends' canine residents who may be at an increased risk of becoming separated from their handler. Once outfitted with a Fi collar, Rosie's Rule dogs will keep their collar through adoption along with a one-year subscription to the Fi App - at no cost to their new family. Aries is one of our Extra Loved residents. Although all our resident animals get plenty of love, many of them come from backgrounds where they may need a little extra care, extra attention, and extra patience.
