This lively fellow arrived with his partner in crime, Mulan (aka January Mom), and their 11 adorable babies. Now that his little ones have grown up and ventured into the world, Poncho is eager to embark on his own adventure and find his forever home. Despite his initial shyness, Poncho quickly warms up to his surroundings and delights in investigating every nook and cranny once he feels safe. He's a social butterfly who enjoys showing off his toys and spending quality time with humans on their level-the floor, of course! You might even be greeted with friendly nose bumps or the tender touch of his paws as he says hello. While Poncho adores affectionate pets, he prefers to keep his paws firmly on the ground and isn't too keen on being picked up. But with his playful antics and irresistible charm, Poncho is sure to capture the hearts of his future family in no time! Are you ready to welcome this spirited bunny into your home and hearts? Poncho can't wait to hop into your life and bring endless joy and laughter along the way! Neutered 1/25/2024 Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) is a highly contagious and deadly disease caused by a calicivirus that affects both wild and domestic rabbits. It is not contagious to people or other animals. For the first time, the virus is causing deaths in rabbits and hares native to North America and is spreading rapidly. UPDATE: In May 2021, California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) has confirmed new cases of RHDV in rabbits in Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura County. In addition to detection of RHDV2 in wild cottontail rabbits and jackrabbits, RHDV2 has been confirmed in domestic rabbits on 50 premises, including a detection in a feral domestic rabbit.
