My story

Hi, Nugget here,I am a young, very confident dog. I am not afraid of other dogs even when they are bigger than me. I am great when I am off leash so I can play with other dogs, but I can be a bit reactive when I am on-leash. I am working on that.My foster is working with me to prepare for my forever family. I am working on commands of up, down, in, out, sit, down, walk together. I must wait beside my bowl until I get the signal to eat. I am pretty good with recall and walking on a leash, but there is still some work there.I love to play with other dogs the most, but I like to chew on plastic bottles, bones, and other sticks. I live with and like to play with cats. I play with the kitten because she is not afraid of me, but I am still a bit rough. The older cats are afraid of me, so they stay away. I love to run, and my foster mom gives me a job of looking for food she has hidden for us to find. That is great fun.Car rides are fun especially if we end up at the beach. I am not much for swimming, but I love to run along in the sand and splash. I am affectionate but I am not a cuddle bug! A pet on the head is a great reward. I spend most of my time outside, so I still need to work a bit on my potty training, not because I don’t know better but sometimes, I want to tell the cats that this is my house!If you are looking for an active, smart puppy then I think we would get along, so fill in an application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give.NuggetThis dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement.
