Dog Name: Raven Age: 3ish Gender: Female Breed: Low riding pittie Weight: 60 pounds Crate trained: Yes Potty trained: 90% Dog friendly: Yes, with slow intro Cat friendly: No Kid friendly: Older kids (she’s a rough and tumble gal) Vaccinated: Yes Spayed/Neutered: Yes Heartworm: Negative Microchipped: Yes Energy level: Medium-high Hello, meet Raven. She has all the love and potential to be your forever houseguest. Worried about the rising cost of inflation? Raven will lower your water bill by eliminating the need for showers as she will bathe you in kisses. Raven also eliminates the need for your heat to be on as she herself is a heated, weighted, snuggling blanket. We have can now send our dog to college by the amount of money we’ve saved in utilities by fostering Raven. All jokes aside… Once Raven discovered love, she decided she couldn’t get enough of it. If you want a low riding- pitbull who snuggles you with her whole body and melts into you when you touch her, this is your gal. When she gets the zoomies you better move your coffee tables out of the way! She’s a playful girl who lacks spacial awareness. Raven has won over my grumpy, senior pitbull. With time, she learned exactly how he wanted to play and she fell into a submissive role. He even taught her how to make little gremlin noises when she plays. Raven is very silly when it comes to food. She is selective on her treats (first dog I’ve met that doesn’t like hot dogs) but she will scrunch her face and shake her head to say “no thank you”. When she finds a treat she likes, she will do pretty much anything you want for it. She so far has mastered “sit”, “down” and “stay” and is working on “place”. Her recall is pretty good too! Raven is a gem in her crate. She’ll go in with a treat and stay in there quietly until you let her out. She sleeps in her crate throughout the whole night and is happy to sleep in as late as (you) want to. Raven would thrive in a house that has the love for life and energy that she has. She needs a good walk or run each day, someone to tug or throw a ball to her, and give her lots of love. She has shown to be good with another large dog (with a slower intro) and is perfectly content with the city life. She is not a barker. She is proving to be a good work from home buddy and can self-entertain or nap. Raven would be an amazing addition to anyone lucky enough to adopt her and love her forever!
