My name is Dahlia, and I’m looking for a second chance at a forever home that truly understands me. 💛 I’m a beautiful Malinois mix—high-energy, incredibly smart, and built for activity. I haven’t had the easiest start in life. It's believed my previous owners moved away and left me behind, but I’m ready to put that chapter behind me and find someone who won’t give up on me. I’m sweet, a little shy at first, and a total cuddle bug once I feel safe. I know how to sit and take treats like a lady—so gently! I am fearful of men and take time to warm up, but once I do, I’ll be loyal to you forever. 💕 I’m about 2–4 years old and around 50 lbs. I do best in a quiet, one-person household (preferably female), with no kids and no other animals. I’ve been through some neglect and need stability, structure, and compassion to thrive. I need a home with a fenced-in yard where I can run, explore, and be the active dog I was meant to be. ⚠️ Dahlia is not doing well in the shelter. The stress is showing, and she urgently needs an experienced dog owner who can give her a purpose and the structure she craves. She’ll require professional training right away to set her up for success. She’s incredibly intelligent and eager to work—she just needs the right guidance and consistency.
