Angel

My story

Angel is a petite young beauty with a cute black nose in the shape of a heart! Upon her arrival, Angel showed signs of being overwhelmed and stressed at the sight of other cats in the rescue room. When approached overhead, she exhibited behaviors such as flinching, and swiping, leading us to believe she may have been mistreated or abused in her past. Angel likes to be alone and will lash out at cats and humans that unknowingly approach her. With consistent behavior “therapy” and Churus, Angel has come to tolerate much more than before! She definitely needs a loving and understanding human that can allow her to build a relationship at a pace that is in her comfort zone. It is hoped that Angel gets the opportunity to live her best life. Currently, Angel has bonded strongly with one human and literally lives on the stair landing by the door that human enters when they her hero human with an excitable but anxious, meow, allowing pets and even purring until she drools! Though she has improved by leaped s and bounds, Angel’s behavior can still be unpredictable, We hope that someone will decide to take the chance and adopt her, knowing that given time and patience, Angel will meet the challenge to become the best she can be. She has already exceeded expectations and we feel she is worthy to be adopted, adored and cherished! However, should she live the rest of her life on the stair landing waiting for her hero human for the rest of her life, we know she will be safe, healthy and happy in her self contained world.
