My story

At 67 pounds of love, loyalty, and just the right amount of sass, Lord Farquad is ready to rule your heart (and maybe your couch). He’s been thriving in foster care for the past 9 months, and while talks of a royal adoption are underway, he’s still available to meet his perfect match!Farquad is a gentle and affectionate pup who’s great with dogs, cats, and even young children. He’s calm and easygoing in most situations—except when cheese is involved, and then he becomes adorably animated. Quiet 90% of the time, this noble boy still knows how to make you laugh with his goofy, expressive side.He’s house-trained, mostly crate-trained, and has a solid daily routine with two meals of kibble (plus dreams of cheese snacks). Farquad sleeps peacefully in his bed and does well when left alone. On leash, he may pull a bit out of excitement but listens well and loves walks.While he enjoys a calm home, Farquad is used to having visitors and does just fine in a busier household too. He’s cuddly and affectionate, but also has a playful, hyper streak—especially when toys or treats are involved (just skip the hard plastic ones, please).Ideal home? One with people to love, cheese to snack on, and a comfy place to nap near his favorite humans. He’s sensitive to loud noises or sudden movements, so a patient and loving home will help him continue to thrive.Ready to add some royal flair to your life?
