Midnight

My story

The Foster Writes: Meet Midnight, a lovely cat with a hard background. His last owners did not socialize Midnight to human touch and interaction. When he first came to our foster home, he was terrified of his own shadow and everyone around him. It took months to pull him out of his shell with cat treats, toys, and patience, but it was well worth it! Midnight is learning to come when he is called. He will walk into the room you're in when he is ready for more attention or food and meow loudly. He loves playing with our kitten and napping with our older cat. He no longer runs when we enter a room but instead stretches out in welcome and searches for scratches. He's a sucker for wet cat food and chin scratches. When we watch TV at the end of the night, he sits right beside the couch or at my partner's desk to be part of the group. While he may not be a lap cat yet, he is making big progress towards being an affectionate, lovey cat. He just needs someone with enough love and patience to show him he's safe. Could that be you?
