My story
Meet Harley! This pint-sized 5 year old lady recently came to us from a local animal control. She is very quiet and calm in her crate but LOVES to go on walks and shower her people with kisses! Harley would is not a fan of kitties, and does well with dogs upon a slow introduction. The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog and family’s needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
