My story

Meet Smokey, the sweetest boy with a heart full of love! ??At 6 years old, he’s the perfect balance of mellow and playful—a middle-aged gentleman who’s just as happy lounging on the couch watching TV as he is roaming the backyard with his toys.Smokey adores people and greets everyone—strangers included—with the happiest tail wags. He’s fully crate trained, potty trained, and sleeps soundly through the night (whether it’s in your bed or on his own cozy dog bed).In his foster home, Smokey lives with a large and small resident dogs, as well as his foster dog sister who he sleeps with every night in our bed. He’s proven to be a wonderful companion, easy to have around, and truly adaptable. His foster family calls him “a great companion,” and he’s even gotten glowing reviews from families with kids who have cared for him while his foster was out of town.Smokey really is the whole package—loving, easygoing, and ready to be someone’s best friend
