My story

Bella has been with us for over a year and a half—and while she’s lucky to be in a foster home, it’s time for her forever family to find her. This sweet girl doesn’t shine at busy events—she does best in quieter, more personal settings. Her foster family has lovingly cared for her for over a year in hopes she’d bond with their dog, but unfortunately, it’s just not the right match. Bella needs a new placement within the next 2 months—and ideally, her forever home. Bella is about 7 years old, around 50 lbs, and full of love. She’s the ultimate cuddle bug—kisses, snuggles, and blanket burrows are her specialties. She’s crate-trained, housebroken, UTD on vaccines, and has a medium energy level: she enjoys her walks and then naps like a champ. She’s obedient, learns quickly, and makes the cutest little hops when she’s excited—like a chocolate Easter bunny with tiny legs that disappear in tall grass! She still loves to de-stuff plush toys (hey, we all need hobbies!) but never touches anything else. She may occasionally need a little coaxing to eat her meals, but she’s all in when it comes to treats! Bella would thrive in an adult-only home where someone is around often. She needs to be your one and only, but we promise—she’s all you’ll ever need. Let’s get this long-time girl the happily ever after she deserves. Her adoption fee is sponsored.
