Cindy Lou Who is ready to find her forever home! Also known as Cynthia Louise, this precious pup is the bell of the ball wherever she goes. She is outgoing, snuggly, loves to play, and has no idea what a stranger is! She’s the total puppy package and can’t wait to find her family! Cindy Lou Who is a true people-pup and social butterfly. Equally happy playing with other dogs or throwing a toy by herself, Cindy puts her all into playtime, giving it her absolute best until she eventually winds down for a well-deserved nap. Her enthusiasm knows no bounds, and she expresses herself with plenty of vocalizations – though she's unaware of her volume! Cindy Lou Who is deaf, but she has no idea she’s any “different” from any other dog! She is very eager to please and learn, making training a joy. She is doing well with basic cues and hand signals, potty training, and crate training. One of Cindy Lou's most adorable traits is her prancing – she struts her stuff everywhere she goes, spreading joy with her adorable antics. Her personality is a delightful blend of funny and sweet, and her fearlessness adds an extra layer of charm! Cindy adores other dogs and would do well with a patient canine sibling who will continue teaching her appropriate play. She has also been fostered with kitties and thinks they should also be her best friends and playmates! Medical Information: Cindy Lou Who came to FDR in December as a young pup, rescued from a neglectful situation with burns on her body and an injured rear leg. She made a beautiful recovery and you would never know she had a rough start – she is a survivor! Her injured rear leg had a calcaneal fracture that healed in a malunion, but she uses her leg great and it doesn’t slow her down at all! It’s possible she may need a tarsal support brace during activity in the future. We estimate Cindy Lou Who was born around 11/9/23, as of mid-March weighs in at about 20 pounds, and is a Pit Bull type dog. If you're seeking a puppy who approaches everything in life with boundless energy and a whole lot of heart, Cindy Lou could be the perfect match for you!
