SHERLOCK

My story

SHERLOCK is a 2-year-old male, catahoula/cattle dog mix but that's just the start! If you want to take a guess at the "mix" piece? Whatever you guess, you'll be right as there are no less than 17 in this happy little body! He is full grown and weighs 50 pounds, He is neutered,microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventative. SHERLOCK is very outgoing, and good with other young dogs that match his energy level. Sherlock's perfect family should be active. A fenced in yard is necessary so he can receive the proper amount of exercise. Sherlock requires a home with kids over 12yrs of age due to his energy level and zest for life. Sherlock would do best in a home without cats. Sherlock is ready to graduate our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program, where he has learned basic obedience. IMPORTANT: Please Keep in mind both the age and life expectancy of Sherlock. Our guiding principle for adoptions is to seek the right fit for our rescues and the families, including a home that can stay committed to the animal for life.
