My story

Meet Xander!At 9 years old, Xander is the perfect blend of playful pup and wise companion. He loves going on walks and spending time outside, taking in all the sights and smells. Once he’s had his outdoor fix, Xander is all about getting cozy—burrowed under blankets and snuggled close to his person.This affectionate, goofy guy is house-trained, non-destructive when left alone, and knows several commands including “sit,” “down,” “stay,” and “come.” He’s got a regal presence and a heart full of love just waiting to be shared.Xander does best in a quiet home without cats and with older kids who understand his need for a calm environment. He walks nicely on a leash and has a medium energy level—ready for playtime but just as happy to relax by your side. Loud noises like fireworks can scare him, so a peaceful home is his ideal.While Xander is generally independent and laid-back, he’s not shy about letting you know (with a bark or two!) if there’s something he wants. It just adds to his charm.If you`re looking for a loyal, loving, and slightly silly companion, Xander is ready to steal your heart and your blanket.
