My story

Meet Sweetie, a loving and gentle lady with a calm demeanor and a heart as big as her name suggests. Her soft, expressive eyes and wagging tail greet everyone with boundless affection. While she prefers to be the only spoiled girl in the home, Sweetie excels at spreading warmth, whether she`s cuddling with the kids or lounging at her favorite sunny spot in the living room. She is a smart girl who picks up new skills quickly and needs a family that will continue her training and provide her exercise restrictions and mental stimulation that she needs during this downtime and recover.Reason for Foster: Post surgery (TPLO) treatment & exercise restrictionsFoster Time Frame: 2+ weeks (Next exam on ) (The foster time frame may be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: Requiring short, leash walks only to go to the bathroom. No running/jumping/climbing for 3-4 months due to suspected Osteoarthritis. We will provide a medical consultation at your pickup appointment and the Foster team will supply all necessary items for a successful foster journey. Foster to Adopt: Sweetie is available for our Foster to Adopt Program, which allows pets to be placed with prospective adopters before they become available for adoption.
