My story

Hi there… I’m Kiera - A plushy and petite tortie soul with a tender heart and a big purr just waiting for the right person. I’ve been living in a loving foster home since November 2024, and let me tell you—I’ve come a long way. Life outside prior to being rescued and then some time in the shelter left me a bit shy, but I’ve been learning how to feel safe again. I still get nervous, sure, but if you give me a quiet space, cozy hidey spots, and a little time to trust you, I’ll melt for gentle cheek rubs and reward you with my best purrs. I may even let you pet my belly when I'm feeling extra loving. I’m definitely a night owl—when the house gets quiet, I love to sneak out and play, tossing toy mice in the air and batting my favorite ball toys like a fierce little huntress. But during the day, I’m all about peace, naps, and curling up in a warm sunbeam or your comfiest couch corner. Oh—and I’m FIV+ but don’t let that scare you off! Cats like me can live long, healthy, happy lives with just a little extra care. I can live with other friendly cats too, as long as we get along. I just need someone patient, kind, and calm who will let me blossom in my own time. If you bring me some treats and let me be myself, I promise I’ll be worth the wait. 💛 Will you be the one to give me a chance?
