I was raised in a family with children and lived with them for 7 years, but things changed and now I'm on myown.I'maffectionate and loving, andI'mquite friendly withother dogsand people.(Slow intros always recommended). I'mcalm andgentle and I love young ones, butI'ma big boy at 80 pounds andmy size makes me better suited to older or dog-savvy children.I'moften described ashappy and playful, and a bit of a goofball!I start each day with extended stretches which my foster momdescribes as "yoga poses" andI give sweet kisses good morning.I love toplay outside,andmy favorite toys aremyrugbyball,myknottedropeandfurry,squeakytoys(which I eventuallydissectmethodically).I LOVE TO EAT, so much that I gobble my food down too quickly, so I eat out of a"maze" bowl withlots ofnooks and crannies to slow me down. I enjoy long walks and rides in the car, but my favorite place iswith my people!Ilike pets and scratches andIlove a good belly rub, butI'malso content tojustlie by your side.I'm100% potty trained.I'mcratetrained as well,however,Ido fine at home while my foster parents are at worksomy crate door is always left open.I'mtrained nottoget up on counters, beds or furniture,but I enjoy lying on a soft rug orbath mat.I'ma good boy and I aim to please-I'lldo my best to make a wonderful addition to my forever home!For more information, please contact Wags Rescue, Southampton,PA- Kennel License #5254 Duke is a neutered 7 year old American Pitbull/ Dalmatian mix that was recently surrendered to the rescue due to not having a stable family.
