My story

Meet Chuck. We are smitten with this dog who reminds us of his resilience every day. With an intake date of 10/26/22 at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center and the fate of having to spend the next fourteen months on evidence hold, Chuck's world was very small. For a love bug like himself, the fact that he was rarely allowed to exit from his kennel must’ve been torture. Even after the hold was lifted, Chuck didn’t attract an adopter; due to overcrowding at the shelter, his future was put in jeopardy. On 1/17/24, we were thrilled to tell Chuck that we were breaking him out of the shelter, once and for all. He's a three-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix who loves people and is great with other dogs. Crate-trained, house-trained, and easy on the leash, Chuck is ready for his forever home. Being highly treat motivated, he knows his basic commands and is a quick learner.
