This lovable goofball is the total package: playful, affectionate, smart, and always up for an adventure. Whether he's splashing through creeks on a trail walk or showing off his epic ball-catching jumps (yes, he’s surprisingly agile for a chunky guy!), Waylon knows how to have a good time. He’s full of personality, charm, and plenty of silly moves—his signature spin and somersaults during doggy playtime are legendary at the shelter. Waylon isn’t just about fun and games, though. He’s incredibly sweet and affectionate, leaning in for pets, offering gentle kisses, and soaking up every moment of human attention. He’s house trained, loves car rides, and has great manners out in public—on a recent day trip to Nashville, he strolled through shops and met new people with calm curiosity and perfect politeness. This smart boy loves learning tricks (especially when treats are involved) and would thrive with someone who enjoys engaging with their dog. And to help him settle into his new home, Waylon comes with a free four-week online training scholarship—a fun, flexible way to bond and keep building on his great foundation. These fun, positive reinforcement classes are all online and super easy to fit into your schedule.
