Hi! My name is Happy Blanche. I am a 9-year-old black and white diva with a neurologic abnormality in my brain. We don't know what is causing my neurologic abnormality, but it could unfortunately be a brain tumor or brain damage from a stroke. My condition causes me to be partially blind, unable to jump, have partial seizures sometimes and makes it difficult for me to groom myself. I take daily medication to try to help with this. I do need help with grooming and need baths a few times a week. I have a lot of love to give though and am an excellent cuddler when I am sleepy! I don't scratch or bite my foster dad, even when being given a bath! It takes me a while to adjust to new spaces, and I am scared of new, loud sounds at first. Dogs have been okay as long as they give me some space. When I first arrived at my foster home, I didn't use the litter box at all. Now, I use it about 90% of the time! It turns out that I prefer a flat pan. I occasionally have trouble keeping my feet clean, finding my food bowl, grooming my coat, and getting back to my favorite place- my blue hut! That's where you come in.I am a very sweet kitty. I want to walk around with my humans and know where they are. Walking between feet is my favorite! I also enjoy batting around my little toys. I have a lot of energy, I love to lounge around with my human. While we are unsure of my exact prognosis and how much time I have left, I hope to be an excellent companion for quite a while yet. Please visit https://felinerescue.org/all-cats/ to learn more about me and where I am located!
