My story

Look at that face, isn’t he cute!? Cactus is almost 3 years old. He knows basic commands and is house trained, crate trained, and sleeps through the whole night. Once he gets to know you, he’s a giant cuddle bug and ready for his forever home!Cactus is a very happy guy who just wants to be by your side. He loves walks, an occasional jog, and playing with his toys, especially his tug-of-war ropes and stuffed animals.Cactus knows quite a few words like sit, paw, down, crate, stay, gentle, wait, turn (on walks I use “turn” to let him know we’re changing direction), walk, outside, bedtime, and his favorite: treats.On our walks, we are working to help Cactus to be less reactive when passing other dogs. We are proud of his progress and improvement on this behavior.If you are a large-dog lover, and need a buddy to get your steps in or a companion to binge-watch shows with, come meet Cactus. He would be happy to help!Cactus is currently living in one of our wonderful foster homes. Adopting from foster is easy!
