My story

Hi, I'm Elias. I came all the way from Honduras, and I've faced some challenges along the way. I have a moderate to low energy level, often finding comfort in the quieter moments of life. I walk well on a leash, but I still feel a bit unsure in new environments, and it can take me a while to warm up to new faces. While I get along with other dogs, I like to keep my distance at first, as I sometimes feel overwhelmed. I'm shy and hesitant, longing for the security that comes from trust. Once I feel comfortable, I truly cherish those cuddle moments, but it takes time for me to let my guard down. I could use some help learning my food manners, as I sometimes struggle with excitement around mealtime. I hope to find a patient and loving family who can help me navigate my fears and show me what a true home feels like.
