Yeti

My story

Yeti is a sweet, initially shy, Poodle mix girl who is about 3 1/2 years old. She is said to be mixed with Yorkie. She is happy and playful and plays well with other dogs. She is initially timid and shy on first meeting and we believe by her behavior she wasn't treated very well but she is improving dramatically. Yeti would probably do best in a quiet home without children. Like many of our rescued dogs we are not sure how much housetraining Yeti has. Her owners said she was "mostly" trained. She goes outside to potty on her own when she has access to a protected dog door area. Yeti will require brushing and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Yeti's adoption fee is $450 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, spaying or neutering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue! Please understand that sometimes we get numerous applications for specific dogs and as a volunteer-based rescue, we do not always have the time to respond to each one. We do our best to choose the most suitable home for each dog based on their specific personality and needs. Please note you MAY NOT be contacted for up to 10 days to schedule a meet and greet if your family is the most suitable for this rescue dog. Regrettably, we do not have the manpower currently to contact all applicants. We keep ALL applications in our database so please feel free to contact us when you see another dog of interest.
