My story

Meet Tawny, a stunning classic brown tabby who's been given a second chance at life. Saved from Chicago Animal Care and Control when she was younger, Tawny was in danger of being euthanized simply because she was shy. But despite her reserved nature, Tawny has a heart of gold. This beautiful cat thrives in the company of other felines and is also comfortable around dogs. While she might not be the most outgoing cat, Tawny has a special way of showing affection – she loves to snuggle up in bed with her humans and curl up beside them. Tawny is looking for a patient and understanding owner who will appreciate her unique personality. She'd do well in a home with one or two other cats or even a dog. What matters most to Tawny is finding a forever home where she can feel safe and loved. This lovely cat isn't picky about her food, and she has excellent litter habits. What she's really looking for is a second chance at happiness and a forever family to cherish her. Tawny enjoys playing with crinkle toys, and her favorite treats are Temptation cat treats.
