Doje is a little over a year old and I have had the blessing of fostering her since November 2, 2024. She is a Boxer Mix. She is spayed and has had all her shots. I have taken great care in getting her healthy and her fur looking beautiful. She is red with white on all four feet and chest and black accents on her face and ears. She`s just so beautiful !! She is a medium sized girl weighing 52 pounds. She loves to be petted and talked to....loves to be loved on. She is such a smart and sweet girl. She is somewhat shy around other people until she gets to know you as I`m sure it was caused by her previous life. She loves to play with my 2 smaller dogs and is very loving to both of them but doesn`t realize she is not their size and can be a bit rough sometimes but look for that to phase out with age. She loves toys and playing outside with them by herself or with my little ones. She understands the word, `NO` and most of the time will not do it again. She sleeps in bed with me and my other 2 babies but is also okay with sleeping on the couch and early on I even crated her overnight until she got use to her surroundings. She is primarily an indoor dog but does so much enjoy her outdoor time with me or my littles and basking in the sun. She is not a dog to just be shoved in the backyard as she loves connection and to be by her person. She is crate-trained but I only crate her when I`m leaving for a longer duration of time or when company comes over or I go out of town with her. She does get anxious when others come over so for me it`s just easier to crate her so she doesn`t bark and she can be calm. I did crate her overnight in the beginning until I confirmed she is absolutely potty-trained. She is small dog friendly but has not had the ability to test her with other dogs the same size or larger since she left the shelter. Her shelter notes from playgroup said she was tolerant of the dogs coming up to give her greetings but lacked confidence to join in but had a PG1 Social, Dainty/Gentle play style. She appears to be cat tolerant but will bark at them. She would do best with someone that is home more than not and possibly with another non-dominant dog(s). Knowing the boxer breed would be a plus. She can get super excited when doing zoomies but I am retired and have no trouble handling her....again she is a very good girl and is gentle but doesn`t realize her size sometimes as she thinks she is a chihuahua herself like the other 2 in my home. She has
