My story

My name is Irish, and I am a 4.5-year-old terrier/chihuahua mix, weighing 11 lbs.  I was rescued from the shelter by FUPI and have been looking for a new home for some time now.  I am unsure and shy with new people and need time to get know you.  Loud noises, quick movements and small children make me nervous, so I think I need a quiet, adult home.  I love to cuddle up to my person, am good in the car, walk well on a leash, and am housetrained.  My favorite thing is to play fetch and I will return the toy back to you for as long as you are willing to throw it.  I just need a person who has the time and love to reassure me and bring out the best in me.
