My story

FIV+Blanche is a 4-year-old sweetheart who has come such a long way since she first arrived at the shelter. When she was brought in by a kind human who didn’t want her to spend another cold winter alone on the streets, she was very shy and unsure of people. She spent her early days in the Zen Den, where she kept to herself and watched the world quietly. Over the past year and a half, though, Blanche has been showing her brave side. Little by little, she’s been opening up—and recently, she’s been amazing the volunteers at the open adoption center with her progress! She’s learning that people can be gentle and kind, and she’s starting to enjoy their company. Blanche has waited patiently for her chance at a forever home. She hopes that someone will see the sweet, resilient girl she has become and give her the warm, safe life she’s been dreaming of.
