Maya

My story

Maya’s a 4yo 11lb Poodle mix. She’s dog friendly, but would prefer to be an only dog. She’s house broken when kept on a schedule and will use a pee pad if needed. She’s good with a secure fenced in yard and/or going for harness leashed walks. She pulls a lot and is a bit skittish about loud noises but loves walks or running around a yard. She loves toys, fetch, catch, people and being in their lap. She’s sweet, happy and has lots of puppy energy. She needs warm up time to new people and dogs and will bark at noises. She is a a people pleaser and wants to learn and a big cuddler. Maya’s foster requires a home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, patience to allow her to warm up to them and new experiences, a secure fenced in yard, runner and/or going on long walks along with people who are on board to show leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Maya is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Currently in Phoenixville, PA.
