My story

Meet Gracie – the best friend you didn’t know you were missing. Gracie is a petite 40 lb hound mix who has been patiently waiting for a forever home for nearly two years. She’s grown up in rescue—through no fault of her own—and while she’s been a wonderful guest, it’s long past time for her to be someone’s beloved dog. Now two years old, Gracie is the total package: affectionate, gentle, well-mannered, and completely devoted to her people. She recently graduated from a 6-week professional training program and aced it, giving her a solid foundation that will make her transition into a forever home smooth and easy. She knows her cues, respects boundaries, and is eager to please. Gracie’s happy place is right by your side. She’s a calm, quiet snuggler who loves soaking up the sun, enjoying peaceful naps, and leaning in for belly rubs. She thrives in a calm, steady home where she can share life’s simple joys with her favorite human. She's done well living with another dog and would be happy either as a solo pup or with a friendly companion. Despite being overlooked time and time again, Gracie hasn’t lost her gentle spirit or her hope that the right family is still out there. She’s not a high-maintenance dog—she’s a loving soul who just wants a place to belong. Gracie is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, and more than ready to find her forever.
