Meet Bootsie! Sweetheart ExtraordinaireAfter a well-deserved 3-week foster break, Bootsie is back and ready to find his forever home! His time in foster gave him a chance to decompress, relax, and show off his true colors—and let’s just say, he made quite the impression.Bootsie is a chill, affectionate couch potato who lives for snuggles, pets, and lounging the day away. He loves a good car ride (especially with the window down for some breeze and squirrel spotting!) and is a pro on leash—he knows his boundaries and responds well to guidance.In the home, he’s mostly quiet, with the occasional bark if he hears something outside or when he’s settling into a crate. Speaking of crates—he`s not their biggest fan, so he’ll need a heavy-duty crate and a little patience as he adjusts. That said, he’s very manageable and will go in without a fuss if helped.Bootsie hasn’t had the chance to meet kids while in foster, so we recommend bringing all family members for a meet-and-greet. We cannot say how he would do around cats. He’ll also need a bit of a potty-training refresher—after spending time in the shelter, he just needs to relearn a home routine.He’s a fan of baths (seriously, no drama there!), is intrigued by squirrels, and prefers calm, low-activity environments. He can get a little nervous near moving cars, so a quieter neighborhood would be ideal for this gentle soul.If you`re looking for a loving, low-key companion who’ll happily keep you company on the couch (or maybe your lap!), Bootsie could be your guy. ??
