My story

Klondike von Kemnath is a very handsome, 3-year-old, white German Shepherd with possibly a touch of Lab mixed in. Very sweet and loving, he has an easygoing personality and loves to lean against his person to earn lots of petting. On walks, he again stays close to you as he shows his nice leash manners and meets other dogs like a gentleman. Klondike comes in at a medium-energy level and may already be housetrained. When it’s time for his playgroups, he’s a calm boy who likes to mingle but prefers to have his fun with other easygoing pups. Cats, however, need not apply to be his buddy. Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.
