Blue

My story

Please note, the majority of our rescues are special needs which means it has to be a perfect fit so we work closely with potential adopters to evaluate suitability. Special needs range from auto-immune disorders, heart disease, allergies, FIV+, FeLV+, bonded pairs and trios, and behavioral issues. Blue is a VERY sweet boy who loves his BFF Hudson. Blue is FIV+ and will need a stress-free home to live out the rest of his life. FIV is a virus that impacts the immune system just like Aids in humans. Having a stress-free home is crucial to helping him have the best quality of life. Blue enjoys time on his catio watching birds and napping in the fresh air and sunshine while still being safe from being outdoors. He is sweet and mellow and will make a wonderful companion with you and his BFF Hudson. Blue does get skin lesions on his back along the spine from time to time. It is necessary to shave the area to help it heal and in order to put ointment on it. Otherwise he is the best kitty and very loving.
