My story

Meet Broussard! This kiddo is the full package, well behaved, lovable, smart, and downright handsome! With a heart-shaped birthmark on his mouth, you just know he’s been kissed by angels. Broussard craves love and affection more than treats, happily flopping down for belly rubs and chin scratches, melting into your hands like butter.Smart and eager to please, he`s learning commands like sit, come, stop, home, and down. He’s 98.3999% house trained, only the occasional oops if left alone too long, but he`s working on becoming a “super holder.” Broussard plays well with other dogs and would probably be the good child of your furry crew or the best only child. He’s curious about cats, but they don’t seem too interested in him (hey, you can’t win them all over!).While he’s not currently living with kids, he’s met plenty at the park, adoption events, and around the neighborhood, and shelter staff gave him a thumbs up for being kid friendly. This boy is a real find, a quiet pup who rarely barks and isn’t fazed by thunderstorms, fireworks, or vacuum cleaners. Instead of fear, he meets life with curiosity!Broussard is playful and athletic, zooming around for his daily bursts of energy before stretching out in the sun for a well earned nap. A true water lover, he enjoys splashing around, crunching on ice, catching popcorn in the air, and chewing on his toys. Though he can be caught napping in his crate, he’s not officially crate trained but he enjoys the space, so it wouldn’t take much to get him there.As an experienced `sniffer,` Broussard is a dream on a leash, loves walks of any length, and adores car rides, especially when people roll down their windows to compliment his devastatingly handsome face. He may bear some scars from his past, but his heart is whole and overflowing with love. With his striking fawn colored coat, muscular stance, and hypnotic hazel amber eyes, he turns heads wherever he goes.Could Broussard be the missing piece in your family?
