Q 11907

My story

Q is named for the chief of spy technology who supplies James Bond with gadgets, gizmos and spiffy underwater cars. It's a perfect moniker for this personable genius. He's a tidy tan chi who can keep a secret but wears his heart on his sleeve. He loves people, especially those who scritch; and dogs, with whom he will graciously share beds and laps. He's no stranger to adversity, which he has managed to transform into awe-inspiring resilience. Bright-eyed and focused on the future, this kind boy is ready for your TLC, and possibly a chemistry set for his next birthday. Here's some notes from his foster: Q is a great little guy who loves to sleep and lounge around all day! He is good with potty training and is very efficient with his business during his walks. They are usually 10-20 minutes long each time. He doesn't pull or tug while on the leash and tends to walk behind me. He would much rather have a slow stroll through the park and I have never seen him chase after anything. He is good with other dogs while on walks. He is not reactive with them, unless they start barking or become aggressive. He doesn't love having his paws wiped down after walking, but he has learned to tolerate it. Q can be shy and timid at first. He loves to sleep and just likes to chill around the house. He's very quiet and will sleep for hours on end. I've been able to work for hours on end on calls or computer work with no interruptions whatsoever. When he is at home with someone, he is super quiet, doesn't bark at all, and is non reactive to any outside noises. He does get uncomfortable when left by himself. He has been great as a companion dog and loves to go shopping with me. He is amazingly well behaved in stores, shopping malls, restaurants, bars, even supermarkets. He is ok with some stairs, but likes to take them slow. Q is great while on car rides and will sleep in his car seat. He's also been ok in a carrier while on BART.
