My story

Hi, I’m Bolt — and while I may not strike like lightning right away, once I warm up, I’m all heart!At first, I like to take things slow. When I arrived here, I wasn’t sure what to make of it all—but with a little patience (and okay, maybe some chicken), I started to feel safe enough to show my sweet side. These days, I’m seeking out affection, making new human and dog friends, and even joining playgroups! I’ve made great progress, but I’d love a home that understands I’m still learning. Continued positive socialization will help me keep growing into the confident, loving pup I’m meant to be. If you’re the kind of person who believes in giving nervous dogs a soft place to land, I’ll be your most loyal companion—once you earn my trust, I’m all in.
