Jola

My story

Jola came to us in January 2024 a day after giving birth to a litter of kittens. She was very protective of her babies. But, once she was finished raising them out was clear that she could be a house cat. After she did a wonderful job raising her kittens and the kittens were weaned, her Foster Mom worked with her on socialization and she's now a happy, loving, affectionate little house cat. She's shy with new people, but loves to be pet when she trusts you and really likes when you play with her with a wand toy. She loves to jump up on get foster mom's lap for a nap and is a great companion who really enjoys being pet and hanging out with her humans and will only continue to flourish in a furever home as she bonds with her adopter. She will do best with an experienced cat person who will allow her time to acclimate and get to know and trust them. Jola is about two years old and is a pretty chill cat who likes to lay in a cat tree and watch birds out the window. She would not be good with small children or dogs. She is prone to being bullied by other cats, but gets along great with her foster buddy Treasure, who she'd love to be adopted with, but would be perfectly fine as an only cat also.
