My story

MEET PETEY!*Looking for a dog friend!* Petey is a handsome mixed breed dog clocking in at 54 pounds. He`s a year and a half, neutered and ready for a new adventure! He can be shy so a doggy friend ready to show him the ropes of life would be helpful to him. He is the sweetest boy looking to show his people the utmost love and affection. Petey would be a great addition to your family because of his love for life. His favorite past time is playing with other dog, a good game of fetch or a sniffari walk where he can just mozey along sniffing all the trees, bushes, hydrants, etc. Petey also enjoys learning new things from his basic obedience to an adorable trick or two...he`s ready to learn! Oh and another bonus - Petey has lived with cats before! If Petey sounds like a dog you`d like to welcome into your home please drop by our Dedham location - he`ll be ready and waiting to meet you!Petey is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.For more information on Petey or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
