My story

Kandy Has Waited Long Enough Kandy has been through so much — and she’s waited so patiently for her turn to be loved. This gentle soul is about 3–4 years old and was rescued by BARRK while pregnant, scared, and alone. She gave birth to TEN perfect puppies, raised them with so much love, and watched as each one left for their forever family. Now… she waits. Day after day, Kandy greets her foster family with a wagging tail and hopeful eyes. She doesn’t ask for much — just a soft place to rest her head, someone to toss a ball, and arms to curl up in at the end of the day. She's affectionate, loyal, and still has playful puppy moments she never got to enjoy when she was just trying to survive. She’s house trained, crate trained, knows her commands, and gets along with other dogs — but more than anything, she just wants someone to choose her. Kandy has given so much of her heart.
