Daffodil (adoption fee reduced due to length of time at rescue)

My story

*Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.* Daffodil has been waiting over 4 years for a home. This is the longest that any dog has been with our rescue. She deserves a family of her very own to be loved by. Daffodil is a 7 year old lovely mixed breed pup. She gets along with all dogs and humans that she meets but she does not get along with cats. Her 8 pups she was abandoned with have all been adopted and she is ready for it to be her turn! Her adoption fee has been reduced to $350 due to length of time in foster care (over 6 months).  Listed breed is an educated guess made by our veterinarian and is NOT a guarantee - this also means we have no way of knowing what a puppy's adult size will be. This dog is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via Barton's Barkers transport services upon adoption. Their adoption fee is $350 and includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, microchip and transport costs. Second Chances lists dogs as being available in White River Junction, VT because we transport our dogs to the area every 3rd week after they have been adopted. All of our local shelters have a high euthanasia rate due to overpopulation so we created our rescue group to primarily adopt to the northern states to help keep as many dogs as we can from entering our kill shelters.   ##1062498##
