My story

Beau is a sweet, smart, and super cute black and white middle ager who doesn’t love the shelter and would like to head home with you today! This handsome boy is active and playful, but also past all those pesky puppy shenanigans- the perfect age to be the best addition to your household! Beau has tons of volunteer fans and has even spent time living in the busy volunteer office, meeting all kinds of new people every day. He has a big smile for everyone and always wants to show off his toy of the day or his perfect handshake! Here’s what his volunteer friends said:“Beau is a playful guy. He’s easy to leash and always excited to leave the kennel. He loves water and cuddling and plays well with his kennelmate. He’s a sweet guy and I hope someone will give him a chance.”“I adore Beau. He is so happy to have your attention, and is as sweet as they come. He’s gentle and affectionate, but also playful and silly. He’s smart as a whip too- he knows ‘sit’ and ‘shake’ and I’m sure would love to learn more. He is such a good boy and really deserves a loving home of his own.”“Beau is easy to leash and walk. He walks nicely on leash, takes treats gently, and enjoys cuddles. He knows sit, look, and shake, and we are working on come. A very easy dog to spend time with.”“I often take Beau out first thing in the morning. He walks nicely and enjoys playing fetch. He brings the ball back and drops it and sits for another throw. He has great focus on his handler.”Beau has generally kept to himself when meeting other dogs in playgroup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit.
