My story

Meet sweet Lulu, a rare beautiful grey and caramel colored tortie who is sweet and docile and very warm and loving kitty. Lulu loves to sleep the day away and sleep with her person at night and really misses being a part of a family that she once was. She can be a talking and enjoy the occasional conversation if you speak directly to her and would never turn down the opportunity to watch a good bird show on cat TV. She prefers dry kibble but appreciates a spoonful of tuna or chicken at night or a bit of cheese or yogurt. She used to live with her buddy Asher who is also with the rescue and should do well living with other cats if provided the proper introduction. We would love for you to meet Lulu if you have the space in your heart and home to provide her with the family life she desperately misses. It can take up to 24 hours to respond to your application and an additional 1-2 business days to have your application approved. Not all applications will be approved. Applications that are incomplete will not be approved. Please include all veterinary information, as we will be contacting your veterinarian. If you have never had a pet before and thus do not have an established vet either in the area or in an area you previously lived in, we recommend adopting from your local Animal Services. Our adoption fee covers spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, monthly flea medication while in our rescue, any medications while in our rescue, an FIV/FeLV test, and the unconditional love of your new family member. Our rescue does not continue to pay for flea medication, vaccinations, deworming, or any other medications after the animal is adopted. All costs and fees accrued after adoption are the responsibility of the new family.
