My story

Foster update: What type of food does this animal prefer? Colbey likes his Tiki senior dry food and and Sheba wet. Would you say this animal is vocal, quiet or somewhere in between?Colbey can occasionally be vocal especially for food, but is otherwise calm and quiet. Was this animal around KIDS (if so, please describe their reaction):No experience with kids. Was this animal around CATS (if so, please describe their reaction):No cat currently, per pervious foster would do best as an only cat or will need a very slow and proper Was this animal around DOGS (if so, please describe their reaction):Yes. He is not a fan of dogs, but has been learning how to coexist with dogs that are very respectful of cats. However, he has a room that is completely his. I believe he could live with other respectful dogs, though he would love a home without them. How would you describe your home environment (calm, busy, chaotic, etc)Calm. Does s/he have any behavioral issues that you are aware of?Can overstimulate for attention but is food motivated and easily distracted. Is s/he fearful of any objects, situations, or people? (if so, describe)Would do best with calm older dogs who will give space and slow introductions. He`s okay with dogs barking, just not directly at him. Was a very timid cat to start and likes having his carrier out for when he wants `cave time`. When left alone, where does she/he sleep?Cuddle bed, carrier, lower box of a cat condo. Is this animal litter box trained?Yes, non clumping litter or pellet litter works best for him. What toys, if any, does your foster enjoy playing with?Likes to chase wands for short periods. Loves catnip. Loves the cardboard scratcher and a few small stuffed cat toys at times. What words and qualities best describe your foster (friendly, reserved, cuddly, couch potato, etc)?Very friendly once trust has been established. Couch potato. Grumpy old man with a heart of gold. Lovable fluffnugget. Do you have any funny stories or other information you would like to share about your foster?Colbey loves sunbeams and cuddlebeds. He moves pretty slow, but still has a huge inquisitive streak that drives him to be the quintessential cat - exploring, sniffing, checking out all the various bits and bobs to see if he can push them over. He can`t climb very high on his own, but he`s stil
