My story

Hi, I’m Manny! I’m about 4 years old, I’m house and crate trained, I know how to sit, and I’ll be your best friend. However, I have some criteria that I need from you. I take a minute to warm up to new people, and I don’t particularly appreciate too much love. I will ask for pets when I want them, but don’t get carried away. My favorite thing? Foot pets!!! Let me rub my body on your feet and I’m in heaven! Another thing I love is food. Big food guy! Dogs? I’m good with dogs! I have two foster siblings and I’m super respectful about their space. My foster family says I’m the most perfect dog and all I truly need is someone who will respect my space. I get so excited when my people get home from work. I may bark at new guests, but if they just ignore me, I’ll ignore them. I walk pretty well on a leash, though I like to lead the way! No kids for me please! They move too fast and scare me.
