My story

Darling is sweet, affectionate, and oh-so-adorable! This handsome boy was originally brought in as a stray and quickly won the hearts of both staff and volunteers. A previous, unresolved ear infection has left him with a charming little head tilt, but it doesn’t slow him down one bit—Darling is living his best life every day! He’s a vocal little guy who loves to chat, loves treats, and absolutely adores snuggling and being petted. After spending time in a foster home, it was discovered that he’s a total bed hog! He loves being close to his people and curling up during bedtime. Darling gets along well with other cats and has even lived happily with a dog. Darling is Feline Leukemia positive (FeLV+), meaning his immune system is a bit more fragile than other cats. Common illnesses can be harder for him to fight off, but thanks to Furry Friends’ Reasonable Vet Care Program, all of our FeLV+ kitties receive the medical care they need—something that would have been impossible at many other shelters in the past.
