My story

Georgie, our friend from @Valentine's Second Chance Animal Rescue, adores being with people. It doesn't matter what you're doing-- reading a book, working, going for a walk, puttering in the yard--being with you will bring Georgie joy. How wonderful is it that just spending time with you can make this lovely, precious boy so darned happy? You see, Georgie came from a shelter in Kansas where too many dogs don't make it out alive. But Georgie was lucky and he seems genuinely grateful to be here, with people who want to be with him. Now we're on a mission to find the people who will give Georgie the gift of companionship, of love, of a HOME. That's where you come in! We need you to share Georgie's story and help him find a home for the holidays. Please share to help this guy find a home! Georgie is about three years old and weighs 65 pounds. He is an excellent snuggle buddy who will take every opportunity to sneak in a kiss when you're least expecting it. He is getting better about walking on leash but can still get distracted at times (no doubt stopping to smell the roses), and likes going for rides in the car. Georgie likes most other dogs, too! He would love a home with adults only or older kids because little kids are scary for Georgie, and we want Georgie to feel safe. Want to bring this big baby home with you?
