My story

Hi, my name is Keno and here’s what my 2024 Holiday foster family has to say about me:I’m a sweet boy and love to cuddle on the couch or in bed - I think I’m a lap dog!I am potty trained and know how to use a doggy doorI may have been raised with cats as I can jump really high when I want toI still have a few puppy moments where I like to chew on things that I shouldn’tI’m not the biggest fan of dog toys but I will chew on a rope toy anytimeI’m pretty good on a leash but I’m still stronger than you so I’ll try to test you every so oftenI am great with lounging around with other dogs. I am very interested in livestock and other small critters- they probably taste good so please don’t have any of them aroundI’m GREAT on car rides!I may have some separation anxiety that will have to be worked throughI know commands like sit and stayI need a fenced yard so I have plenty of room to wander and playI feel great in warm weather but my arthritis slows me down a bit when it gets chilly outI love my humans and will follow you around everywhere you goI’m not the biggest barker unless I’m scared or another doggy starts barkingThunder, heavy rain, and fireworks scare me a bit, but I’m perfectly fine if I’m inside the house
