DUKE

My story

Duke is a super sweet, easy-going, people- and dog-friendly buddy. He is easy on the leash, easy in the yard, affectionate and calm, nonreactive. He would probably make a really good couch potato, and he even looks like a cute little spud on four legs. He`s a nice medium size dog who appreciates any and all pets from his newest human friend!Foster notes, 6/19/24: Duke is an easy going fellow! He enjoys spending time outside on my covered porch. We have 5 other dogs big and small, male and female and Duke doesn`t seem fazed by any of them. He is content sleeping inside or out side among them all, and there have been no arguments. He is not interested in playing with toys. He does enjoy a walk on a leash and walks well on a leash. He just joined our group today, but so far no accidents. Older dogs have a decreased chance of being adopted, so I want to share some of the benefits of adopting an older dog. To start with, what you see is what you get!They still need to get out and have adventure, but not nearly as long nor as intense.They`re calmer and are content just hanging out and relaxing with you. They`re out of the chewing phase so you don`t have to worry about your furniture or other belongings being chewed. They`re potty trained so you don`t have to worry about your floors being ruined. Finally, they will love you for giving them a second chance. Please consider this easy going older fellow as a new addition to your family.Duke walks well on leash, is doing well with other dogs, is good with small children, and is potty trained.Dog Day Out, 6/14/24:We went to the Burlington City Park! Duke was kid-friendly and enjoyed the car ride.
