My story

If you are looking for a distinguished gentleman, Harlan is your dog. He is a sweet senior boxer who was rescued from a high kill shelter in KY. Don’t let his grey face fool you though. He loves to go on long walks, and even enjoys running with his foster mom. He gets along well with other dogs and kids. He loves his humans, and prefers to sit on your lap. He’s very good in his crate but will also sleep all night in your bed if you let him. He is the goodest boy and will make a wonderful addition to any family.   Harlan qualifies for our Senior Soulmate program so get your application in today! Www.adoptapitrescue.org All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH.
