My story

Meet Lilac, a young pup whose name is as soft and sweet as her personality.Highly trainable and eager to please, Lilac comes when called and has already mastered a few cues. Her foster mom observed that she willingly settles into her crate and appears potty trained. While she’s friendly with most pups, meet-and-greets with resident dogs are encouraged to ensure that perfect love match.Lilac is a true cat whisperer—her foster reports she’s very gentle with even the shyest kitties, coaxing a nearly feral feline out of hiding just by being her goofy, floppy self. With dogs and humans alike, Lilac greets everyone with playful enthusiasm and a docile, submissive charm that makes her the ultimate Velcro companion.If you’re looking for a sweet, eager-to-learn sidekick who’s gentle with cats, playful with people, and happiest snuggled by your side, Lilac might just be the one.To meet our available animals, visit our Northside shelter locations any day between 1-6pm.
